Glitter, gems and sequins don’t have anything on what I’ve got in my bag as I head off to Los Angeles for the Craft & Hobby Association show. If you’re in the area – holla! – I’ll be in the License and Design Showcase. Well, I won’t be in a display showcase, just participating in the showcase. (You know what I mean!) Anyway, I’ve packed up most anything that glitters and can be attached with glue.
I remember as a child getting so excited over the possibilities of a new box of crayons. That’s how I feel about Sharpie’s. They’re my artistic drawing tool of choice – is there anything better than a Sharpie fresh tip? As an official member of the Sharpie Squad, I’ll be hosting a doodle contest at the Craft & Hobby Show. Stop by and see me, grab a Sharpie and show me what you’ve got. Prizes for the most detailed, creative and plain ol’ silliest. Here are some images of what you can do with a Sharpie and a blank, white cup.
Since this is a business trip, I’ve got my portfolio jam-packed with goodness for my meetings with art directors from current licensees and any new possibilities. I can’t wait to see my friends and fellow artists and crafters. This is such a creative group and I LOVE IT!

Happy Valentine’s Day to all! Stay crafty.
