I decided it was time to get my stuff organized. Truth is I get a lot more done and “feel” far more creative when things are in their place. I might be a tad bit OCD but hey, it works for me. I decided to share my newly organized work space with you as I am finding it quite inspiring.
As I sorted through my supplies and stuff, I found that I have some pretty awesome collections of my favorite ones! I am pretty thrilled with my Westcott scissors and cutting tools, my Sharpie and my fabric paints from I Love to Create!
No matter what I set out to create, I find myself using ribbon, Mod Podge, paints and various adhesives over and over!
I have lots of my products with my licensed designs and colors on hand too. My favorite colored button in my collection Outrageous Orange by Buttons Galore. I totally love my crayons and am most fond of the color Authentic Apple Green. The possibilities of things to do with the Me and My Peeps decals and iron-transfers from Plaid keeps me on my toes. I of course am almost in love with my customized Sharpie markers! The oval 3D stickers from Ganz are lots of fun. And the fabric, oh the fabric. I love what General Fabrics does with my designs. These two are in Hancock Fabrics.
Wondering how I organize my time? I use my Mom Planner and Journal. I love the way that Leap Year Publishing puts my Me and My Peeps collection to excellent use on their “MOM” products!
I get my inspiration from the world around me. Whatever stayed up and went up on the walls fresh was on purpose. I love my signed posters from my art friends, Jen Goode and Lindsay Ostrom. I really love the picture and letter written by my sixteen year old when he was little. Some things just don’t change over time!
I usually wear an apron when I work. Not that it keeps my skin or clothes clean but rather it creates a great place to keep my Westcott scissors and Sharpie markers handy at all times! I have extra aprons and LOTS of stuff. Come over anytime and create some fun with me!
