My trip to Anaheim for the annual winter Craft and Hobby Association trade show was AWESOME! I am home and totally inspired, energized and ready to create some fab projects with the new products I brought back. I LOVE this show. The companies that make the products we all buy in the craft stores are so much fun to work with and their Peeps are so great to know and play with. Some of these products are BRAND new to the market and others just new to me!
Plaid has a great new collection of Me and My Peeps auto decals! Here they are with Mini Laura (my traveling flat little version of myself!).
I think I am in love with Tombow markers. I mean, I will always have a big special place in my heart for my Sharpies but blending colors is my new thing! I even blended some Tombow ink into some of Activa’s air dry clay and made a little love lips frog.
BUTTONS…Laura Kelly Buttons in all of my favorite colors. I brought all of these back with me and I am going to be BUSY using them is so many creative ways!
Being that I am still an elementary teacher at heart, I LOVE the STICKY STICKS! They are jumbo crafts sticks with the adhesive ALREADY on them…as in peel and STICK! I plan to take these bright sheets of felt from the Kunin Group and make some puppets on sticks. FUN!!!
Next, MOD PODGE. I LOVE MOD PODGE! I can’t wait to get up tomorrow morning, put on my new MOD PODGE t-shirt and play with the Extreme Glitter and the Hard Coat!
And then there’s the many glues for Beacon. I am going to be able to glue almost anything to anything. Of course under the glue is a super handy tool from Westcott..a paper trimming delight!
On the top of my list of favorite things, RIBBON! I had a blast at the Offray booth making this snazzy headband. They even gave me some samples of my all time favorite ribbons…black and white POLKA DOTS!
Deco Art was all prepared for the designers and the bloggers with this super cute little bucket of supplies and CHOCOLATE! The clear chalkboard coating is a definite to try right away on one of my next projects.
And so…it is off to the studio I go to play with all of my new awesome products!!! YEA for CHA and the many great manufacturers who make so many fab products and tools.
Happy Happy,
Laura

The marker blender Tombow is something I’d be interested in trying. Where can I find them. Like you I love my Sharpies but blending would be fun! Also the sticky sticks! Sure wish I could have been there, I’d probably gone crazy! Lucky lady! Lv U!
