So a little experimenting with baking can turn into something yummy!
My boys love Tang, well anyway to drink. They also love Push-Ups and Creamsicles. So, I decided to try to create a baked version and it worked. I am sharing because it is worth trying out.
Ingredients: Box of White Cake Mix, 3 eggs (whites), 3/4 cup vegetable oil, 1 1/2 cups water, 3/4 cup Tang
Mix the ingredients together for two minutes and then filled cupcake liners 3/4 of the way full. Bake with the directions on the box mix.
Let the cupcakes cool while you make the frosting. To make the frosting blend together 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 cup butter, and ½ cup Tang. If you want a smoother or creamier consistency, add a tiny bit of milk.
I used a Pampered Chef gadget to ice the cupcakes so they would be “pretty” and then sprinkled sugar crystals on the time so they would sparkle.
Don’t forget to turn the Boxtop for Education into your local school!
And that’s it!
