I cannot believe it! My son has grown up and is going to prom with a beautiful girl that we all adore. I wanted to make something special for her to keep her “memories” in after this weekend comes and then goes…photographs, flowers, tickets and such.
This is what I came up with using some of my favorite crafting products from Plaid!
I took a photo box that was already black and painted the top of the lid with FolkArt black paint to make it shiny.
Then I used my favorite Sharpie to write a few little messages onto watercolor paper. Using permanent marker makes a difference if you plan to Mod Podge, which I of course did next…adhering the messages to the top of the box.
Then for the fun part, I put on the ‘Me and My Peeps’ decals. I am convinced that they are not just for automobiles.
To complete the box, I added ribbon and a few Luscious Lavender buttons from my Buttons Galore and More palette to match her spectacular dress.
I hope she likes it.
Happy Celebrating Every Occasion Possible,
PS: I bet these are the first two pictures to go in the box!
