Sharpie and Cook Up a Mug For Daddy!

This is SO fun and so easy and such a GREAT reason to get out your collection of Sharpie doodling markers!

Use Sharpie permanent markers to doodle up a ceramic mug (or plate or bowl or whatever) and put it in the oven to bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.  Then turn the oven off and leave it in there until it is all cooled off.

Then you can fill it with goodies and wrap it up!

Happy Celebrating Fathers and Grandfathers and Stepfathers and All Fathers,

Laura

These are so cool, just like your blog and website…you are truly an amazing person, even though I have not officially met you yet, but soon I hope.

What do you set the dish on when you put it in the oven?

I placed it on a Pampered Chef dish so it wouldn’t tip on the grating.

I can’t wait to do these with my grandkids for their dads. I am going to try and find two clear glass mugs, since neither dad drinks coffee. I would think as long as the glass says oven safe, it will work. I will do my best to let you know what happens. I may need to get a third mug to try before the kids do theirs, just in case disaster happens. LOL

Oh that stinks. Ours work great. Did you hand wash or wash in the dishwasher?
