Some people are just amazing. Helen is one of them. She is my husband’s mother and just turned 74 and to celebrate she wanted us all to go to Go Ape in Rockville, Maryland and do the ropes courses in the treetops…so we did. We signed up as gorillas and made our way through ALL SIX courses. It was a fantastic experience filled with lots of stretching, climbing, jumping, screaming and laughing. The pictures were so much fun to take and then so much fun to compile into a mini scrapbook to send her as a memory.I printed the pictures on photo paper at home, cropped them down and placed them in these simple templates then added the trees, leaves and messages.
Of course since I was the photographer, the only way to include myself was a little selfie action. If you are looking for a great way to bond with family or friends, I HIGHLY recommend this journey. It is so much fun and makes for the best of memories!Up next for Helen when she turns 75…scuba diving! Until then, I will follow her example to live life to the fullest and love unconditionally!
Happy Birthdays, Happy Adventuring, Happy Crafting and Happy Everything!
PS: If you are wondering about her prior milestone birthdays, at 60 she jumped out of a plane and at 70 drove a real race car.
