It is here, the eve of the ‘I LOVE the USA’ Blog Hop!
To celebrate on the eve of this awesome social sharing event that includes 28 designers/bloggers and 5 major contributing companies with fantastic projects I decided to have my kids use the first of our summer sparklers. I just needed something to put them in that was cute and fun…so I got out the fabric Mod Podge, some of my patriotic fabric from Jo-Ann Fabrics, buttons from my Patriotic collection at Buttons Galore and ribbon.
Here it is being held by a very excited and ready to celebrate girl!
Cut the fabric to fit the can. Apply the Mod Podge to the entire can, pace the fabric on it and apply another layer of Mod Podge on top. Let it dry and add buttons and ribbon. I used my Adtech glue gun with hot glue.
To make the sign for the can, I used my favorite SHARPIE permanent marker for the lettering. Then I used red and blue Tombow markers to color it in then cut it our with my Fiskars scissors, hole punched it and tied it on.
I hope you will join us this week and follow the hop. It is going to be AWESOME, inspiring and AMAZING!
There are lots of fabulous designers!
