It is the FIFTH and final day of the I LOVE THE USA Blog Hop!
I received a bunch of Rit Dye in the mail and a bottle of BATIK-EZ and decided to try it out on a project for the hop.
I bought a white bandana and painted the BATIK-EZ on it into flower shaped and polka dots. I put parchment paper on my counter first. Then I let it dry by hanging it outside.
Then I painted the dye on with a paintbrush ( since I am a beginner in my front yard so the mess wouldn’t stain my kitchen). I used Royal Blue and Cherry Red.
When it was dry, I ironed it and then rinsed it out in the kitchen sink with the sprayer on lightly, one section at a time, then ironed it again.
AC loved it. She tested in her long beautiful hair several ways. Here is one of my favorites.
And here is another!
