I made goody bags to take to my friends for the Rit Studio Pajama Party to DYE For. (#pjrit) To create something original for each friend, I cut up an old t-shirt from one of my kid’s friends (not sure who left it) into circle and got busy. I used Batik EZ for everyone’s initial, let it dry then started dying. I used tie-dye techniques for most. But for a few I used my magic spray bottle (okay it is an old hairspray bottle that I cleaned out)!I heat set them, rinsed them and when they were dry used them to decorate the tops of the Goody jars. If you are wondering what the goodies were that went inside, here is my list of faves for these kinds of things!
The party was a total blast…such a big time that more posts will follow sharing the excitement, the projects and the fun.
Happy Creating, Color Dying, Partying and Celebrating Friendships (New and Old),
