I love to find ways to celebrate and my one year anniversary is NEXT WEEK! I decided that we need our very own picnic basket to take with us on our outings so I found an old one that I could turn into one of our own. I painted with Krylon‘s Dual Paint and Primer in Cherry Red. (While I was painting, I went ahead and painted little pots and a recycled glass jar to use for this project too).
To turn an old jar into a candle votive holder, I cut a heart out of card stock and taped it from the backside to the glass. Then I spray painted the whole outside of the jar, let it dry and removed the heart.
Surprisingly, the heart was really cool and I am now deciding just what I can make from it. Spray painting paper might be next for me.
Because I LOVE white dots on black, I about fainted when I came across this Ooh La La wine in Target. I decided to make napkins for our basket and a wine bottle coaster too. The directions for the napkins are on my Fifteen MINUTE Friday post for Buttons Galore today.
Ryp loves these little red and white mints so I put them in our little painted pots with our names. Sort of silly but tons of fun.
I love color. I love red. I love Cherry Red. I love white dots on black and ribbon and buttons and being outdoors. I love chardonnay. I love creating. I love new ideas and sharing. I love Ryp, my fabulous husband. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
