Sharing a room can be lots more fun if kids feel like within it they have a space of their own. To create this possibility, I did lots of little things to make a small area a happy and healthy one, starting with personalizing their sleeping areas.
I painted them my five favorite colors from their quilts and let it dry.
When they were dry, I covered them with a coat of Krylon Color Master Clear Gloss. SPRAY PAINT TIP, do it outside. It was raining so I opened the screen door and turned on the fan. Bad idea. Next time I will wait until the sun comes out to spray paint.
Then I sorted the buttons and used my Adtech glue gun to adhere them to the letters. I LOVE my bright buttons from Buttons Galore and more because within each bag there is an awesome assortment of sizes, textures and shapes. I don’t so much love the other brands that are all the same and plastic. I also used hot glue to add ribbons for hanging them on the walls.
I love them and so do the girls! They look fantabulous in their room.
Happy creating, painting and decorating,
