Did you know that in 1984, President Reagan declared July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday of July ans Nations Ice Cream Day. That is TODAY! In the proclamation, President Reagan called for all people of the United States to observe these events with “appropriate ceremonies and activities.” I am not a fan of the word “appropriate” but I do LOVE ice cream. Here is a little way to celebrate…make little treat bags to drop off at your neighbors or give to your kids or friends!
You could add anything to an ice cream toppings gift. Hints to make one like mine: I used Glue Dots to decorate with buttons. I used a Sharpie, card stock, hole punch and ribbon to make my tag. I bought the little containers at the Dollar Tree in the craft section.
Happy Eating Ice Cream,
PS: Add a little note on the back. 🙂
