Recently I created a picnic outing ensemble for my husband including a repurposed picnic basket. One of the fun pieces that goes with us is a candle that I made from an old olive jar using Krylon’s Cherry Red (to match the basket)!
I cut a heart out of card stock and adhered it from the back with packing tape to the glass jar then spray painted the outside of the jar entirely. When it was dry, I removed the heart (which was super cool because the texture of it makes me want to do some spray paint paper art projects now).
Then I tied a black and white polka dotted ribbon around the top of the jar, added a candle and added it to the picnic basket ensemble.
Happy Celebrating, Going on Picnics and Creating Love,
