Today the UPS man dropped off a few packages and one was from my friend, Marisa Pawelko. Her book filled with fabulous Duck Tape Projects that really are CRAZY-COOL showed up right before the high school kids got home from the first day of school.
Anna saw it and said, “Let’s make stuff!” I was planning to do it later this week but being completely inspired, we dashed to A.C. Moore to stock up on tape and we created these fun projects. For some we used Marisa’s excellent directions. For others we used her creative imagination to inspire us to make other things.
We made a Bow Choker for Anna – directions from the book! And then we used the Halloween Duck Tape to make a candy container.Anna Made a Bacon Box! She made the handle with a stack of my Bold Brown and Coffee Buttons from Buttons Galore.…while I was making her a bracelet using Marisa’s technique for flowers out of Duck Tape. I added my Very Violet buttons from Buttons Galore to the Center with Ad-tech Hot Glue! The last project for today was Anna’s bookmark!I highly recommend this book. The projects are awesome and good for all ages of creativity. It is filled with happy, enthusiastic, joyful fun inspiration. If you want to win a copy, you can enter here!
