Here is a quick, easy and fun idea for a trick-or-treat bucket that you can use all year round for storing things beyond candy. This is project five in Thirty Days of Halloween With Me, Laura (#30DaysOfHalloweenWithMe).
I love trick-or-treating and the joy it brings the happy little faces when kids get candy and treats that they like. In the past I have handed out ‘Sharpie markers’ and ‘Me and My Peeps’ auto decals. This year I am thinking about passing out something secret…a surprise!
You will need a bucket, a ‘Me and My Peeps’ decal and some ribbon. I got this awesome ribbon at Hobby Lobby. If you want to personalize with a name or a saying, you will also need a paint marker.
Simple put the decal on the bucket and add some ribbons to the handle to make a bow. I took pictures of how I made my bow so that it will not come untied or come off.
Then fill it with treats and wah-lah, you are all set! I started it out this year with some fun treats to get us going for the holiday including Wilton confectionery decorations, Rit Dye in Tangerine and Sharpie markers…oh yes…and some candy too!
