It is day six of Thirty Days of Halloween With Me, Laura (#30daysofhalloweenwithme)!
I bought this little tote bag to dye for a trick-or-treat candy collector. However my imagination kicked in and instead of dyeing it and using as a trick-or-treat bag, I decided to cut it into canvas strips to dye and re-purpose the 99 cent bag into lots of fun gift giving possibilities.
I cut the bag apart into strips.
And then dyed them in Rit Dye’s Tangerine and Apple Green. I used them to tie bows on Halloween treats and added buttons from my Laura Kelly collection available at Buttons Galore (in Candy Apple Green and Outrageous Orange) using embroidery floss from Coats and Clark.
I created a little baking gift with some fun Halloween baking supplies from Wilton and tied it up with the cookie cutter on the outside.
I tied up of my custom designed Halloween memo pads for another little gift.
And I filled a jar with candy corn candies to tie up pretty for a third. I can’t wait to give them away.
I see Fun Mail going out this week!
Happy spreading Halloween cheer,
PS: If you are attending the Bloggy Conference in a week, you will be getting this fun sway from Rit Dye, tied up in one of these bows!
