Day seven of Thirty Days of Halloween with Me, Laura (#30DaysOfHalloweenWithMe) and I am sharing the plethora of fun pumpkin candy I have come across this week while out and about in the grocery stores, craft stores, pet stores. etc. There were just so many new and adorable pumpkin sweets jumping off the shelves and into my cart. Here they are!
After meeting the challenge of keeping the kids from eating it before I could photograph and get this blog post ready, I gathered it up and did some comparing and judging. This is what I came up with. I have two favorites in the bunch. I totally love candy corn so Brach’s pumpkins are my number one for eating alone. When I looked them up to create a link, I happily liked their Facebook page and followed them on Twitter.
My other favorite pumpkin candies are the confectionery delights by Wilton, the jack-o-lanterns and the make your own pumpkin pieces. I can’t wait to bake something yummy and use them to embellish my creation. I found these at A.C. Moore.
My puppy Piper’s pick was the jack-o-lantern cookie she picked out at PetSmart. Having a puppy is like having a baby. She is so adorable and impossible not to buy things for in the checkout line.
It would be fantastic if this candy bar from Russell Stover were really worth a million dollars. It is so cute and so is the packaging for the bag of their tiny chocolate pumpkins.
The things worth noting…there were 30 skittles in the plastic jack-o-lantern. Nobody wanted to eat the Pez’s but all of the kids wanted the dispenser for their collections. The marshmallows were great in orange Rice Krispy treats. I hid the Brach’s pumpkins for myself.
Happy Pumpkin Candying,
