When Jen Goode asked me to participate in this awesome Breast Cancer Awareness crafty little blog hop, I was an immediate yes. She is the proud designer for the new “Hope” Jumbo stamp wheel designed by Jen Goode for Rollagraph® by Clearsnap.
Having lost my mother to a unknown primary tissue based cancer, this is a cause that I hold dear. The box of goodies I got from Jen was so much fun I jumped up and down. Her new Ribbon Stamp Wheel from Clearsnap is just so great!
Jen Goode’s rubber stamp roller with ribbons is so much fun to use. I played with it on paper and love the way it works with the ColorBox pink ink pad. I played with it on a white cardboard coffee cup too. I created this coffee cup and card that could be used to deliver a yummy drink to a friend or fill with a gift.
This is how I did it. I used a foam pad and rubbed it in the pink ink and used it to turn the cup from white to pinkish. Then I rolled the ribbon stamp in the pink ink and used it to run a border on the cup band and on watercolor paper. I made a little card from the paper and doodled a heart with my favorite Sharpie marker then tied it to the cup with the fun string I got in my box.
I love the way this project turned out because it is fun, simple and creates such connectedness and love. Supporting women as they battle this horrible disease makes all of the difference. When we stand together as women and love and care for each other, healing takes place in so many ways. I am so honored that Jen included me.
There are also lots of great projects! Here are bunches of them and I invite you to hop around and be inspired.
Happy Making a Great Big Pink Difference,
