Now here is a fantastic way to keep kids busy creating holiday decorations using recycled newspaper pages. This pumpkin art project is fun, simple and can go on for hours if you want to create a huge patch. In my book, that is a kid art project win.
The steps are totally self explanatory. Dot an orange circle with bingo dobbers (or color it with markers. crayons, chalk or colored pencils) then add a leaf and a stem. Cut it out and hang it up. Do lots if you want to make a whole patch like Zoe did.
If your kids are not so great at cutting and want help with that part, that makes total sense. Zoe got her cousin Lily to help with the cutting.
Zoe’s patch looks awesome on the refrigerator. I especially love the little sign that she made to go with it. She decided to make a video tutorial for other kids to follow so they could make some pumpkins for their refrigerators in their homes.
