It is true, there is a family of ghosts in my closet right now. They are glow in the dark ghosts and they are friendly. I know this because I made them and I put them there. I bought a can of Krylon’s Glowz to see it if works. I am happy to share that it TOTALLY works, as in rock star solid works great. This is what I did.
We are in a contest. Please go vote for our spooky awesomeness HERE!
I cut ghost shapes out of cereal boxes. I do love to recycle cardboard into new things. I painted them with a thick layer of white craft paint and let it dry.
Then I took them outside and sprayed an even coat of the Glowz on them and let that dry completely.
Next I added faces with Elmers Painter Pens.
Last I used Glue Dots to add ribbons for hanging them.
I tied them to two hangers and hung them on the closet wall where it gets really dark even during the middle of the daytime.
I turned out the light and BOOM, there they were staring at me.
And now the fun part, spooking my family. Let the Halloween fun begin.
