For Day FIVE of Thirty Days of Christmas with Me, Laura (#30DaysOfChristmasWithMe) I decided to bake. I have these adorable little pie crust cutters from Williams Sonoma and wanted to use them in a recipe. This is what I came up with, mini cherry pie cupcakes. They were fun to create and really quite yummy too.
The ingredients you will need if you want to make these is simply pie crust and cherry filling!
I used Pillsbury pie crust, the refrigerator kind that is ready to roll out and cut immediately. I used a round cutter and cut circles to go in the bottom of cupcake liners then filled the cups up with cherry pie filling.
On the tops I added the pie crust cutter shapes to decorate then I baked them for 25 minutes at 325 degrees.
the teenagers came for lunch today just as they were cooling. Needless to say, I got photos just in time because every last one of them got covered in Reddi Whip and devoured. They were a hit and will be being added to our holiday desserts in this house.
I love recipes that are fun and easy and work well with children. This is one of those!
