There is never a dull moment when it comes to baking in our kitchen. We LOVE the new snack size cookie mixes from Betty Crocker than make little batches of 12 because they allow us to experiment. We like to mix things together and this time we mixed up a batch of Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie mix then topped them with Peppermint Patties. I must say, they were delicious!
How easy is this…mix the pouch with butter, drop on the cookie sheet and bake…then add Peppermint Patties while they are still hot on the pan right when they come out of the oven.
We ate them FAST so Z wanted to try another idea. She mixed up another batch of the sugar cookie dough baked them and then when they came out of the oven she poked her finger in the top of each to make an indent. When the cookies were cooled off, I helped her melt white chocolate to pour in the indents and she added loads of holiday sprinkles. They were adorable and also very yummy!
Next up was the snack size pouch of chocolate chip cookie mix. We mixed this one up and added holiday sprinkles. These cookies came out…adorable.
They were so cute that we turned them into elf snacks. If you want to make elf snacks, you can get the free printable tag here.
And made a plate to take to school for the teacher cookie exchange this week.
Next up…peanut butter cookies. I wonder what we will do with that snack pack pouch.
