This is her material list: Photo Box from Michaels, Shipping Brown Paper, Scrapbook Paper for Valentines, Aleene’s Tacky Glue, Mod Podge, Sharpie Marker and a Laura Kelly Original Valentine (which I added as a free printable at the end of this post).
This is what she did: She covered the box with the lid off in brown shipping paper and cut out a black piece in the shape of the puppy door. Then she had her dad cut out the cardboard for the roof and attach it. (He cut slots and slid it in). She covered it in red paper. Then she cut a bunch of little hearts to put all over the house. She applied them with Mod Podge for Kids, giving it an overall shiny and beautiful finish.
She added a magnet to the puppy door and one to the back of a puppy cut from a Valentine so she could take the puppy on and off. She is so creative!
