Sometimes I just love to sit down and doodle. This afternoon was one of those times. The kitchen table was cleared off with the exception of a Sharpie, a piece of printer paper and some leftover Valentines Day candies. It was like it was beckoning me, so I sat down.
I started with a doodled shamrock using my Sharpie marker.
Then I colored it with Crayola colored pencils.
When I was done, I added it to an empty frame on our artwork wall.
Yay for creating and using it on our walls to decorate our home.
This is how I feel about doodling (and coloring). It makes me happy. It frees my mind from worries and opens up all kinds of new possibilities, dreams and ideas. It is relaxing. It works for me. I am thankful every day for my passion to create, to doodle and to share. May all who read this blog give it a shot.
PS: Yes, I ate the Hershey Kisses! XOXO
