I have had my copy for a while and this morning I decided it was the day to get it off my shelf of books by my favorite designer friends and do a project. I didn’t have all of the “exact” supplies but goodness knows I have enough stuff to sink a small ship in my studio so I found what I wanted to use for the clown bag project. After all, the circus was here this weekend. 🙂
I only had a red bag so I painted white stripes. I didn’t have wooden letters to spell party so I doodled them with my Laura Kelly Sharpie and then Mod Podged them to the banner pieces. The banner wouldn’t fit on the bag (toooo small) so I made it stick out the top with some skewers. Improvising is fun when you allow yourself to just get your creative on and go for it. I hope Amy approves.
I think it came out super cute. Bring on the clowns. I have never been a huge clown fan but this smiley guy is pretty darn cute!
