Hello, I am Natalie here with a post on how to make a fairy door and wands! I may just be a kid but I love to create and share. I do most of my blogging on Doll Diaries. Thanks Laura for letting me be a part of your blog.
Let’s jump right into the tutorial.
Here is what you will need for your fairy door:
- Sculpey “Pluffy” clay
- Walnut Hollow embosser and metal cutters
- Sculpey texture sheets
- Sculpey work mat
- Sculpey 5-1 tool
Start warming up your clay and then roll it out. Place the texture sheet on the clay and apply pressure. Trim the excess clay and lift off texture sheet.
Now roll out a second piece and do the same thing. Trim the top of it into a dome shape once you have taken off the texture sheet.
Connect both pieces to form the door. Yay! You have a simple door.
Now I added some decoration. I took my metal cutter shaped like a heart and rolled out some grey clay.
I cut the shape out of it and placed it in the middle of the door.
I made a little handle out of a curved piece of grey clay. It’s so cute!
I then took the smaller metal cutter and my pink clay and cut a heart out of it. I stacked the smaller heart on top of the big one. Then made an even smaller heart with my tiny heart cutter and placed the smallest heart on top of them all.
Now making the wands…
I took the medium sized heart cutter and the smallest one and I cut two hearts out.
I stacked the two hearts then rolled out a piece of grey clay into a three inch long tube.
I placed the grey piece under the stacked hearts and… TA-DA! Our fairy has a new wand. I made her a second wand with a flower on it by doing the same thing. Then I put everything on a tray and baked them according to the directions on the box.
I set everything up outside(including a little red and white mushroom I made from clay and baked) and came back one hour later. A FAIRY HAS APPEARED! Her name is Adorabelle and she loves her new wand.
Adorabelle loves all her new stuff. I hope you all do too! Thanks for reading this I hope you enjoyed!
Until Next Time,
