On one of my last trips to World Market, I bought this adorable cookie cutter to make “Over The Side” cookies that literally fit over the side of a cup. Because it snowed six inches last night, IN MAY, I found myself indoors with a change in project plans. Check out what I baked.
Here is what I started with!
I used Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie mix (super easy) and the cookie cutter to make the cookies. My tip is not to make the cookies too thick or the cut out part that allows it to fit on the cup will bake in and there will be no opening.
The little pink pastry decorator is fantabulous! It has these adorable tips for decorating but this time I just used the medium round opening to get the frosting exactly where I wanted it to be for the cookie insides.
I think they came out so cute and fun. They are really yummy too. If you are wondering about the pink frosting, it is the Buttercream Frosting recipe from Party Food For Girls by Mindy Cone. I met her at SNAP and am so lucky to have a signed copy of her amazing book FILLED with great ideas and recipes.
Happy Baking (and Shopping),
Laura

I didn’t even know this was a THING! Wow! I’m amazed! I want to go to World Market now.
I have seen these cute cookie cutters at World Market, and I always wondered how they looked after they were cookies. These are so cute, and the pictures look great! I love the whipped cream with sprinkles!
