I found this cotton dress shirt just hanging on the sale rack and it is as if it spoke to me. This is what I heard, “Buy me. Dye me!” How could I resist. My tie dyed man didn’t have a dress shirt for work to go in his closet with lots of tie-dyed tees and such. I decided to go for it. I used a great Tulip One Step Tie Dye Kit from i Love to Create with 5 colors.
I got it wet, scrunched it up and put rubber bands randomly around it. Then I put it in the sink and added different colors of Tulip One Step Tie Dyes to it and placed in a large zipper bag overnight.
The next day I washed it on cold and threw it in the dryer. Wa-la! It had become a masterpiece.
I think he looks simply smashing in it!
He wore it to the office and his peers asked if I would take orders. What a compliment but no, not a part of what I have time to do these days.
My favorite funny picture is when I asked him to share the back of the shirt. LOL, he did it like a stick up.
