There is something special about picking your own fruits and veggies and using them to create edible delights. My friend, Cheri, has a HUGE fig tree in her back yard. We picked a big bowlful in a matter of minutes the other day, brought them inside and…YUMMY…they were delicious.
Here is a great super healthy recipe for ways to use those figs. If you use the brands in the photo, the whole batch is only 230 calories. FIG TIP: they keep in the freezer for a long time so you can pull them out and make these for days!
Step One: Mix together in a blender the following ingredients: 1 Cup Almond Milk, 1 Cup Yogurt, 3 Whole Frozen Figs, 1 TBSP Splenda, Handful of Ice
Step Two: Blend it until smooth and enjoy!
