While out shopping at one of my all time favorite store, World Market, I found these awesome cotton cocktail napkins that I am pretty sure whispered to me as if to say, “Buy us and tie dye us up for the 4th of July!” How could I say no to that? I packed them up along with a Tulip One Step Tie Dye kit and some other goodies in my picnic basket (also from World Market) and headed out on a picnic adventure.
These napkins are PERFECT for dyeing. 100% cotton works the very best!
I brought along bottled water and used it to pour on the napkins to get them wet. Then I folded them back up and put then in the grass. I also used the bottled water to fill up the bottles of dye which is so SUPER simple, shook it up and dyed the napkins.
They looked simply fantastic in the green grass and yet I brought them inside and went through the steps for them to process correctly (in the packaging)!
Ta Da! They are perfect for serving good old Americana drinks on the front porch with some Cracker Jacks to complete the snack. The drinks and snacks are from World Market too. Yes, I love that place.
