I love sugar cookies. I love them for all holidays. I love them plain, stuffed, decorated, baked and raw. It’s true! To come up with a new twist on the many ways that they are done up for celebrations, I combined ingredients to create this amazing cranberry cocoa whipped topping for them. Of course, it would be excellent on cakes and sweet treats of all kinds. I baked sugar cookies to get started then turned them in to sugar cookies topped with spiced cocoa cranberry whipped topping!
Here is what is in it…simply all mixed together. To make it pretty on the cookies, I used my Pampered Chef frosting decorator.
- 2 C Cool Whip
- 2 TBS Cocoa Powder
- 1 TSP Chili Powder
- 1/2 C dried cranberries
I did sprinkle some cocoa and nut sprinkles on the topping too. I couldn’t resist. Sprinkles make everything a little more festive.
Happy Holiday Baking!
