A while back I shared how amazing my crafty shopping experience was with ConsumerCrafts.Com! I arrived home from my trip to San Antonio on Sunday night to find my box of awesomeness waiting for me where my husband had placed in in my studio. Of course I hugged him first and petted the puppy then immediately ripped the box open! Ta Da!
I ordered Aleene’s Quick Dry Tacky Glue, Tulip Crystal 3D Paint, Darice Tree Cutouts, Ball Mason Jars, Wire Card Holders, Water Color Paper, Micron Pens, Pastels and lots of other stuff so I could create some holiday fun! One of my favorite projects is these holiday gift jar tags.
This is how I made them…
I doodles on the watercolor paper with the Micron pen and created squared tags and add on icons.
Then I used the pastels to add color.
I cut them out and used Aleene’s Quick Dry Tacky Glue to add the icons to the squares. I also used it to add a few other crafty details like gems, glitter and buttons.
Then I put the square tags in the wire holders and added them to the jar gifts.
So much fun. So easy peasy. So cute!!!
If you are crafting with kids, this is a GREAT project. You simply squeeze the Tulip Crystal paint to decorate the pre-cut foam trees and let it dry then add buttons and decorations with Aleene’s Quick Dry Tacky Glue. If you want to turn them into ornaments, punch a hole and tie a ribbon through them!
Happy Holidays! Happy Shopping at ConsumerCrafts.Com, Happy Quick Drying Tacky Glue and Happy Creating!
