Fabric markers make creating fashion so easy and fun. I love the different packs with all of the bright colors from Tulip brand with iLovetoCreate.
Spring is around the corner which sparks the creative spirit. Fabric markers are such a great way for kids to create their own fashion statements. They work fabulously on canvas surfaces which makes them perfect for “tricking some kicks”! There is something special that happens when people get to creating, coloring and designing. I love when the final result makes a statement and is something useable and fun.
To create these shoes, I used the following:
- Tulip Brand Fabric Markers (Non-Toxic)
- Aleene’s Quick Dry Fabric Fusion to Adhere Buttons
- Ribbon for the Laces (Offray Brand)
To do it, these are the steps…
- Color your designs on the shoes.
- Add your bling. (Buttons, Sequins, Gems)
- Trade the laces out with ribbon.
It is easy peasy and really fun too. Here are some other project by my designer friends.
Crafting and creating each and every day means that my hands are super busy and in use a lot. Add that to living in DRY Colorado and I get hands that could look and feel abused. Thankfully, I have a great stash of Udderly Smooth that saves my hands (and my skin) from dryness and damage. I love it because it doesn’t leave my hands feeling sticky or greasy. It is like magic! You can enter to win a stash of it AND a gift card to JoAnns so you can get some crafty supplies of your own. a Rafflecopter giveaway
