The truth is that I would rather eat the cookie dough for chocolate chip cookies than the baked cookies. This recipe for yummy edible chocolate chip cookie dough is super easy and delicious. There are even ways to create variations of it to make it festive and fun for celebrations. Because it has no eggs, it is edible immediately upon mixing. That totally works for me (and my kiddos)!
This is what you will need to make it (aka ingredients)…
- 3/4 C Packed Light Brown Sugar
- 1 Stick Butter Softened (I prefer salted.)
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 C Flour
- 1/8 C Milk
- 1 C Chocolate Chips (Whichever kind you like the best!)
To make it…
- Cream together the brown sugar and the butter then add the vanilla.
- Mix in the flour, then the milk.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.

If you are ready to celebrate the chocolate chip, here is a fun game you can make with Kunin Group felt. I sewed the chips with dark brown and filled them with rice. I made the cookie with light brown and sewed it to silverish/gray to be the cookie sheet.
Here are the rules!
You can create an estimation jar too. They are fun in classrooms and work places too. Everyone loves a contest and prizes!
