I have been working on Jordan’s room redecorating as she turns TWELVE next week and has matured so much. I decided a DIY string art for a tween room was a must. This was my first string art ever and I love it.

Ryp cut me a board from an old shelf and I grabbed some handy supplies.
I painted the board and sanded it a little then added the nails to spell J.J. (her nickname).
I totally and completely randomly wrapped the embroidery floss around the nails with no plan whatsoever. I guess I did it similar to my personality (wink). My only tip is to leave a long strand of floss when you tie it a nail to start and then end up there to tie it off. I figured that out on the third color.
Ta Da!
It is going to be fabulous in her”new” room.
