This week is jam packed with baking fun. We are creating so much yummy with our stamps from Expressionery and adorable packaging and sweetness from The Bakers Party Shop. Jordan LOVES her furry family members so so much. I actually think sometimes she just might love them most. Well, anyway…today she made these cute dog biscuits by mixing up some ingredients that we had on hand in the kitchen. Check it out.
- 1 1/2 C Flour
- 1 1/2 C Uncooked Oats
- 2 Eggs
- 1 C Water
- 1 C Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 C Parmesan Cheese
- Mix the ingredients until they form a dough ball.
- Roll dough between two sheets of parchment paper until approximately 1/4 inch thick.
- Use cutter to cut into fun shapes and put on ungreased cookie pans.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown on tops.
- Let cool completely before giving them to your pups.
And the making of the biscuits…
Ta da. They are out of the oven and cooling off. The dogs were going nuts with the smells from the kitchen.
Sometimes the packaging really makes the gift. In this case, the biscuits are really good enough alone but with this great stamp from Expressionery and these cups and twine from The Bakers Party Shop, it is exquisite.
How darling are these. She could almost start a dog biscuit company. It could maybe pay for the medical school she plans to attend in 10 years. Ha ha ha. The tags were made with my Puppy Flash Card die from Sizzix. It looks like Piper, doesn’t it?
Scout makes a great model.
Piper is pretty good too, for a hound dog.
There are LOTS of great baking and decorating and packaging ideas this week in the ExpressioneryBAKES party. Check them out here.
