I got the Halloween bug last week! I woke up and it just hit me. I decided to do some paint your own pottery (aka PYOP) Halloween ideas to share with my friends. Here they are! All of my products are from Duncan…the bisque, the underglazes, the brushes, the glaze and the French Dimensions! You can hop over to your local ceramics studio, use these ideas and make your own holiday fun.
I did this adorable spider ornament using the round ornament.
Spooky cute as a decoration, right?
And I painted this pizza plate as a candy corn….
I love it so much as a cookie or a treat plate.
Of course Halloween must have Jack-O plates too. Here is a plate on the work table.
When it came out of the my Skutt kiln, I was so giddy because I think it is that cute.
Do it. Get it your car and go to the nearest studio and start painting! You won’t regret it. Ceramic pieces are forever pieces. If you are sort of scared of this form of art, take a kid. They will lead the way with their curiosity and willingness to test out a new hobby.
Happy Creating,
Laura

These are adorable Laura, what a wonderful family outing to POP!
Thanks for sharing!
