Being a part of the Ellison team and a designer of dies has me so totally addicted! I have been using the dies and cutting machines since the 1990’s when I was teaching but recently discovered that they work for sewing projects too! For REAL! I used a Sizzix die to create Zoey the handmade doll and it was a blast!
The die cut out the fabric perfectly.
Then I sewed her up following the directions and added the details in hair and ribbons. Of course I added buttons and a little rick-rack too.
She is so much fun in her black with white polka-dotted leggings. I highly recommend trying out dies for sewing and crafting and creating. They make it sew (ha ha ha) much fun and can really simplify otherwise difficult projects.
