This idea saved the bunnies! Every year the kiddos get SO MUCH CHOCOLATE at Easter and the bunnies end up lasting wayyyyyy too long. I find them in summer under beds, partially eaten. I find them years later in the back of the freezer. I pray that the dogs don’t find them and eat them. This year, it all changes! I made peanut butter cookies with chocolate Easter bunny parts and they are PERFECTION! This is our favorite cookie around here (usually made with kisses) so it is an “of course”. I am wondering why I didn’t do it eons ago.
- Admire your bunny as a whole creation.
- Bake your cookies and break up your bunny. This is kind of fun actually.
- Put your pieces in the cookies while they are HOT.
- Serve with cold milk.
And here it is in photos. I am in love with the cookie that sports the bow. The ear sticking out is pretty cute too.
This might have been a secret plan to find a way to use my hand painted carrot dishes ONE MORE TIME before putting the away until next year. If it is, I probably won’t admit it!
Cheers to Chocolate, Carrots and Easter,
