Hello! First let me first say, I LOVE S’MORES! This recipe is the perfect one for chilly summer evening around the campfire while roasting marshmallows and singing songs. It is fun to make the mix ahead of time. My kids LOVE sifting which come in super handy. This S’mores hot cocoa with Torani Syrup is delicious! I know you are probably thinking that summertime and hot cocoa don’t go together! If you live in Colorado and you spend time in the mountains then you know, hot cocoa and summer go together like PB&J!
This mixture along with a bottle of the syrup is a great summer gift to give to a family heading out camping. This darling jar (and the syrup) are all from World Market.
I especially LOVE adding whipped cream to the top with extra cocoa mix sprinkled on top.
And for real, if you are giving it as a gift….World Market candy bars are a definite add on. They are BOMB!
- 2 C Powered Sugar
- 1 C Cocoa Powder (Guittard from World Market)
- 2 C Powered Milk
- S.Mores Flavored Syrup
- Mix ingredients together then put the entire mixture through a sifter to remove all lumps. Store in an airtight container.
- To create a more exciting mix, add mini marshmallows or mini chocolate chips.
- A serving is equal parts of the mixture and hot water (1 C each with 1 tsp of syrup).
