Last week Laura and I went to an event with King Soopers where I found out about the Women’s Bean Project and am really excited to share it with you here! “The Women’s Bean Project a a social enterprise that offers a transitional job in gourmet food and handmade jewelry manufacturing designed to provide immediate income, arrange support services to overcome barriers to employment, and teach job readiness skills.” King Soopers proudly supports this project and is helping women earn their own futures which I think is stellar! While I did get the mix as a gift, this post was not sponsored. I am writing it because I care, because it matters, because one by one we can all make big differences.
The bloggers that attended the event got bags with goodies which included this garlic and herb dip mix.
I set some butter out to get it to room temperature.
I mixed it up with the butter.
Then I put in a chocolate mold. I put in the refrigerator to get it hardened and then the individual molded butters popped right out!
Ta Da! Fancy, right? I can’t wait to use it tomorrow when we grill out some delicious steaks!
I love how the project gives women ownership of what they create. SHARON did a fantastic job because this mix is bomb diggidy perfection!
I seriously love this project. You can find out more about it, donate to it and support it HERE.
If you are on Facebook, you can follow along on their journey as they empower and lift women up! THIS IS THE LINK TO FACEBOOK!
Be the difference. Stand for all women being successful and at peace.
Cheers and Love,
