I was in King Soopers today (just strolling along buying the things we need) and BOOM. This bag of M&M’s practically jumped into my cart. For real. No thought went in to making any decisions. My hand just reached out to the shelf, grabbed the bag and tossed it in. I have been thinking a lot about the season and what it will be like without Peyton Manning. I created this recipe to test out something new for game day snacks and it is awesome sauce delicious. I am dedicating it to Trevor Siemian because it is filled with ingredients that create energy and I am thinking as the new QB, he is going to need it!
You will need a few ingredients to make these. The great news is that you can order ALL of them on King Soopers Click List if you don’t have time to go pick them up in the store. Here is the recipe.
- 6 Bars Vanilla Melting Candy (Melted measures 1 C)
- 1/2 C Peanut Butter
- 1/2 C Mini Pretzels
- 1/2 C Broncos M&Ms
- Place your pretzels on a baking sheet. I like to put wax paper down first.
- Melt the vanilla and PB in a glass container and mix.
- Pour over pretzels.
- Add M&Ms
- Chill until hard.
- Break apart.
- EXCELLENT over ice cream!
I love the way they break apart and can be served in individual cups. These are actually cupcake liners.
Of course, the M&Ms work as a stand alone too!
Just in case you are not sold on making these yet, here is a close up. Can’t you almost taste the creamy treats.
If you aren’t sure that King Soopers is the store to go to for all these ingredients…let me just share a little something else. THIS! You can get all this there.
