I have been sharing some of football party ideas and recipes throughout the month and am excited to share this one too. I created some super healthy veggie sliders for the Sunday game and they were yummy. Supporting King Soopers in spreading the word about Game Day Greats has been super inspiring and a lot of fun too!
We like to homegate in our family. It is like creating a tailgating party in our own back yard. It is fun because our neighbors are often out doing the same thing which creates great Broncos energy. We have had a ball with these fun things that King Soopers sent us to celebrate all things football!
Fun times!
When we weren’t taking turns being silly and creating football fun wearing the paper helmets and sunglasses, we were using them as looking glasses!
For the sliders, simply put a thin layer of THICK salsa on the bun, stack your veggies and stick a pick through. I used a straw decorated with a chipboard football. I cut the footballs out with a die that I designed for Ellison Education! It is part of the badge collection. I used the shoe from the die too to make a Broncos cleat. Cute, right?
