Chalkboards and Valentine’s Day with World Market

This Saturday I will be at World Market in Soutthlands Shopping Center from 1-3 demonstrating and helping customers (and friends) to make some darling decor and gifts for Valentine’s Day!  I wanted to give you a sneak peek so you can be sure to get this fun event on your calendar and join me.  If you are not local, you can check HERE to find out the closest World Market to you with s tribe member sharing.

First things first.  SUPPLIES.  I totally love the World Market store section for stationery and gifts.  It has the best supplies for DIY because they are well made and lasting ones.

I suggest coffee with crafting too.  This mug is one of my faves!

It’s super simple and fun.  You can get the directions over on the blog Cutesy Crafts after the event on Saturday.  But if you don’t want to wait, BE at the event.  She is sharing a pattern for the flowers.  I actually used a flower die designed by my friend Eileen Hull for Sizzix on these.

Here are some of the fun things I made with the chalkboards, tissue paper and glue.  The raffia and ribbons are from World Market too.  I used the heart paper tags to create a mini garland for my favorite chalkboard in the house!

I am totally crushing on this tag (also from World Market) and the JAR gift too.

The darling gift bags and kraft tags are a great way to create gift wrap for your office friends, co-teachers, neighbors and well…for everyone!

Cheers to DIY Valentine’s Day.  I hope you will come by on Saturday.

Cheers,

Laura
