We have a memory care center right in the neighborhood where most of our Girl Scout Cadettes live. This is the first post of eight sharing ways that girls can create community service projects through crafting and creating. Udderly Smooth is a fabulous product for so many reasons. In this project, I love it because it is a gentle, non greasy and odorless lotion that works great for skin of all ages. My mother-in-law LOVES it as much as we do. We decided to combine our love for the product with the memory care residents love for coloring and came up with these darling bags to donate. The bags each have a mini coloring book, colored pencils and of course, a tube of Udderly Smooth lotion. This post was sponsored but the ideas and opinions are my own.
The coloring books are easy peasy to put together. Simply print out the sheet with the four designs on it, cut the paper in fourths and staple the books together. The books would be a great little add-on to any gift or service project donation. The cost is so reasonable to print a whole little darling booklet from one sheet of paper!
If you want, you can sign the books by the heart on the front page. The printable is a PDF so it is ready to be sent straight to your printer.
Put the books, colored pencils and the Udderly Smooth lotion in little bags and you are ready to go!
We added darling cow bells to our bags with a little red ribbon.
Making a difference can be so fun and simple. It helps the organization or group you reach out to as well as the girls who do the giving. Through the practice of giving and being a contribution, girls learn the value of connection in the community.
Cheers to Being in Service and to Udderly Smooth!
