On Friday night we went to Sweet Tomatoes in Denver for dinner. It is such a great place to go with a family (and kids) because there are so many choices and lots of them are good for you! While I am huge fan of the salad bar, the girls are in love with the pasta bar. Ryp likes the soups and well….we all get to enjoy what we love. This post is sponsored by Sweet Tomatoes but the ideas and opinions are my own.
Here is a fun fact about Sweet Tomatoes that you might not know. It was started in San Diego, CA in 1978 by two surfers. They wanted to create a place with endless options and a farm to table menu! I love that. Before we headed out the door, I whipped up a printable for us to do at dinner. Often times one kid finishes eating before the rest of us and needs something to do. I am NOT a fan of any technology at the table so games and puzzles work for me. We usually end up working together or in pairs to solve the searches. I saved it as a printable that you can download and take with you next time you dine out.
I had a salad and baked potato. I love that their were gluten free options for me!
I especially love that we don’t have to clean up!
Sweet Tomatoes is a great place for a group to go. I think it would be awesome for a Girl Scout troop to dine at the restaurant and learn about eating habits and good choices. There is a badge for Cadettes (Eating for Beauty) that work hand-in-hand with Sweet Tomatoes. I am excited to offer a giveaway for EIGHT Sweet Tomatoes meals. This should be enough for a lot of troops to treat their girls to a fabulous experience. The giveaway is open to everyone but I think it would sure be awesome if a group of kiddos gets to be winners.
