These Harry Potter Valentines cards and printable puzzle have been a total blast to create on this chilly day. The Valentines are darling. The puzzle is hard but fun. The chocolate frogs made a great after school snack! The Harry Potter Valentines cards and printable puzzle are a great way to create a magical celebration of friendship and love. I have lots of fun Harry Potter posts on this blog so be sure to check them out too!
Okay, let’s make cards. Download and print the free Harry Potter Valentines.
Color the cards then cut them apart at 3 1/2 inches starting from the left.
Make some chocolate frogs to go with the cards if you think that would make some people you love hoppy. Ha ha ha.
I love this quote from Ron Weasley when he is explaining chocolate frogs to Harry in The Sorcerer’s Stone: “Oh, of course, you wouldn’t know — Chocolate Frogs have cards inside of them, you know, to collect — famous witches and wizards. I’ve got about five hundred, but I haven’t got Agrippa or Ptolemy.”
To make the frogs you will need the mold and chocolate to melt. I got the mold on Amazon. If you are creating allergy friendly frogs, Enjoy Life mini chips worked great. You will also need sprinkle candy hearts if you want them on the bottoms. Melt the chocolate.
Fill the molds with melted chocolate and add sprinkle candy hearts. Put in the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens.
The frogs will pop right out of the mold!
The puzzle is hard but super fun. I created it for older kiddos to have some love fun too. You could give it out with the Valentines or use it for a party game!
