Sometimes it is the little things that make the biggest differences. These DIY kindness cards are so fun to make and even more fun to give away. I love to watercolor and make cards for every possible reason. I think that creating cards simply to spread kindness is just a great idea. I made these DIY kindness cards today using the amazing Pixie Paste Glitter Glues that are brand new from ooly. I am usually not a fan of glitter because I always make such a mess. I am excited to share that Pixie Paste is the answer to my dreams. I made eight cards and there is literally no glitter except where I want it to be, on the cards!
Gather up your supplies. This is what you will need.
- ooly Watercolor Paint Pods, Brush, Water
- Watercolor Paper Cut in to Cards
- ooly Pixie Paste Glitter Glue (Ocean Potion, Mermaid Mud, Unicorn Stars)
- Permanent Marker
Doodle and write messages of love, inspiration and kindness on the cards with a permanent marker. Watercolor paint the cards.
And now, do the funnest part of all. Paint on your Pixie Paste Glitter Glues!
Let the cards dry completely then give them all away! This one is my favorite. I think the person in my world who this most reminds me of is Debra Quartermain. She is loving, kind and respectful of all people. She makes sure there is “a place at the table” for everyone.
And this one is really special too I think. I could give it to so many people but the first ones that come to mind are my boys. They really do make the world a better place for me and for humanity.
So, go. Go now and gather your supplies. Make some cards and spread some kindness.
